This mandala was designed for Episcopalians.. I represented the six seasons of the church along with the Eucharist and the "reaching out" for which the Episcopal Church is known. I also used words from The Book of Common Prayer.
Mandala is a sanskit word meaning "circle". The circle is a symbol of wholeness, completion, unity, and harmony. The art of creating mandalas pulls me into the circle of being one with God and the world.
My mandalas are created and drawn by me using different art media. I mat each one on a mat board. They are suitable for framing as is, or one can set it on an easel for display. Rematting the mandala with a round mat is a fabulous way to showcase your mandala. Email me at hickmanmm@gmail.com.
